SOLD.

Last night we sold our camper. I cried.

Taking its last drive (tow) down our driveway. G'bye.

Taking its last drive (tow) down our driveway. G’bye.

Sheesh…how does one get so attached to a thing!? Lemme ‘splain. This is the camper where The Dream was born. This is the camper that holds my boys’ first memories of being camper kids. This is (maybe I should be saying “was”?) the camper that has taken us from the sandy beaches of North Carolina to the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY (REAL upstate…not this Syracuse/Buffalo nonsense) and many places between. This is the camper that we lived in for almost a month, in our driveway, while we had site-finished oak floors installed in the house we can’t wait to sell…when we also realized that living in 230 square feet (vs. 2500 square feet) as a family of 4 with an 85 pound dog was not only doable, but enjoyable.

This is the camper that started it all. And we’ll miss it.
