Selling the motorhome…

…was not easy.

But we did it. We listed on Craigslist for free and for $40 (every 40 days).  Forty days later, after dozens of emails and 3 families that came to look (and several test drives), NOTHING. So we re-upped on RVTrader and added and wouldn’t you know it…the first hit on RVT did it. A woman from NC happened to be in DC on business and was VERY interested. She (and her family from afar) decided it was The One just by the pictures and our description (that’s pretty much the way we bought it—and several other campers—too). Drove it to DC in the pouring rain, met at her bank, wired this and that and drove home without it.

What a FREEING feeling. Now we could focus on the Airstream we wanted to make our home.

Laters baby!
